Our Name
Nile River Services is a professional janitorial company that specializes in corporate office cleaning. Our name reflects the value and culture of service we learned from our roots in Africa. Having experienced the power and blessings of the Nile River, we want to offer those same values to the Erie region by providing professional and affordable cleaning to clients in the Erie area.
Our Services
Our company was founded by three Sudanese women, Cholhok Abol, Afaf Kormouna, and Suzan Nyok, who all were brought to the U.S. as refugees. While building new lives and balancing between adapting to American culture and holding to African tradition, we were able to leverage our experience in cleaning to begin our careers in the cleaning and janitorial industry working for companies including Gannon and Mercyhurst Universities, Plastic companies, the Avalon Hotel, Bonded Services, and St. Mary’s Home of Erie. These opportunities helped us by providing the necessary experience to launch our own business providing professional and affordable cleaning to clients in the Erie area.
Our Team
Our team currently consists of our three cofounders and partners Cholhok Abol, Afaf Kormouna, and Suzan Nyok. Our diversity of skillsets and willingness to work efficiently together results in our clients receiving professional and affordable services. We pride ourselves on satisfying our clients by providing the best possible experience through great service.
